Create a design for the 2022 Rottnest Channel Swim t-shirt and poster contest.

Concept

I began this design by first hand drawing an image of swimmers to create a more dynamic look, which was then converted to a digital file to add color and clean up in Photoshop. This design was created as a vertical composition. The viewers eyes move from the information at the top down to the information at the bottom through the flowing imagery of swimmers at different angles and positions. I used primarily cool colors with one warm color and white to make the image really pop and come to life.
