Exhibition Poster

Brief

Design a poster for an exhibition that displays the works of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

Concept

This poster was created in the Art Nouveau style that Mackintosh helped establish. The typeface was also specifically designed to mimic his style of typography. Mackintosh was famous for his stained glass style roses, which I recreated in my own style as the centerpiece of the poster. This helps create a flow for the hierarchy of information included on the poster. Ornamental lines and shapes mimic rose stems.
